At Bluerydge, our mission goes beyond cybersecurity. We believe that building a for-profit company means using our position to contribute to a greater good. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a core principle that guides how we give back to our community in Canberra.

One of the most enduring ways we uphold that responsibility is through our ongoing partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). For the past four years, small crews of Bluerydge staff have volunteered as part of the Meals from the Heart program at the Canberra Hospital.

Last week, a team of five Bluerydge staff donned aprons once again to prepare and serve a ‘home-cooked' meal to the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. With young children undergoing hospital treatment, many of the families are far from home and living out of suitcases.

This simple initiative offers comfort and care to these families, while giving our own team a deeply rewarding experience - strengthening our team bonds, grounding us in empathy, and reminding us of our social responsibility.

CSR is about recognising that as a for-profit company, we have a responsibility to act in ways that benefit society. Our ongoing partership with the Meals from the Heart program is one of the ways our team can follow through on our duty to give back in the ACT.
